Currently, I am ensured through my employer, Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In the future I will be obtaining malpractice insurance from Nurses Services Organization. I have been insured through NSO in the past while working for other employers. Below is information on my current insurance through Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Nurses Service Organization.
At the highest level:
NM self-funds losses through our wholly owned insurance company, Northwestern Memorial Insurance Company. It covers all providers for incidents that occur during the course and scope of employment. There are no individual policies for providers. Everyone is covered under the same insurance contract.
